There are two ways you can reset your Aura Frame. Please note that resetting your frame will remove all of your photos and erase your frame's settings.
1. Resetting your frame using the Aura app.
Resetting your frame in the app will erase all photos and frame settings. To reset the frame's WiFi network you need to perform a factory reset on the frame (instructions below).
Before you can reset your frame, you need to remove all current frame members. You can access the members list under Settings (icon at the top left) or Frames tab. Tap on a frame, tap "Members," and then click into each member and tap on the three dots in the top right corner to uninvite them. Keep in mind that if you remove a member from a frame you will also lose all of the photos they added.
After you remove all of the members from the frame, tap on your own name. From there you can leave and reset the frame. This will erase all of the photos and restore default frame settings.
*Please Note: Resetting your frame from the Aura app will NOT reset it's WiFi network.
2. Resetting your frame without the Aura app.
If you would like to reset the frame entirely to bring it to a new location or set it up as brand new again, please follow the below steps to do a hard factory reset. This will erase all photos and restore the frame to factory settings.
If you have the Classic style of Aura frame: locate the reset button on the back of the frame between the two power input holes; using a paperclip, hold down the button for 10 seconds. The display will turn off and say "Erasing." Wait until the frame powers back up again. Keep your frame plugged in the whole time.
If you have the Modern or Wood style of Aura frame, the reset button is in the corner of the square that surrounds the input hole. To reset the frame, insert a paperclip into this hole and hold down for 10 seconds until it says "Erasing." Keep your frame plugged in the whole time.
Tip: If you're resetting the Modern frame, you can find the reset button by twisting the stand slightly to the side while leaving the frame plugged in, rather than removing the stand entirely.
