Send your selected photos and videos - and their metadata - to our secure servers so we can help you manage them and deliver them to your frame(s).
Analyse your photos and videos, and their metadata, so we can group them (by which people are in them, by where they’re taken) to make it easier to pick which ones to display. This is always required for uploaded files but can be turned off for photos / videos that you didn’t upload (see: turning off Smart Suggestions)
Allow other people who were invited to contribute to the same frame as you to see and download the photos and videos you send to that frame (more info: Here).
If you signed up to our marketing newsletter, we collect your email address to share offers and product updates.
Sell your photos or other personal data to other companies.
Show anyone (other than you) photos or videos of yours that you don’t add to frames (e.g. your photo library)
Use any of the content of your photos for target advertising, to sell you things, or otherwise be nosy or creepy.
B) Summary of Aura's Data Collection
There are three areas where we may collect some of your personal data:
1) Essential / Functional Data
This information is mandatory and we have to collect it to meet legal / accounting requirements and / or to enable the basic functionality of our product and services.
- Data and permissions, for example granting the Aura app access to photos on your phone’s camera, so you can add them to the frame (Learn More)
- Information we need to store for legal or accounting purposes (e.g. order information).
- Any previous communication that we may have had with you, for example when you contacted our Support team for assistance.

If you would like to delete your entire Aura account - including all your uploaded photos and account information - you can do so directly in your iOS Aura Frames app (> Account Settings) or by contacting email@example.com to request account deletion.
We collect analytics and dignostics data to improve our customers' product and service experiences and to offer advanced photo curation features.
- Performance and utilization data to improve products and services.
- Photo information to offer smart-curation and recommendation services.
- Website cookies if you gave us consent to collect them
Where possible, data collection tools are configured to automatically delete analytics data after a certain period of time, usually within 30 days.
3) Newsletter (Optional)
Depending on your selected preferences during the account creation, we may use your email address so we can offer you the best deals and the latest information about Aura and our products.
If you would like to opt out from this use of your personal data, please either use the "unsubscribe" option on our marketing emails or contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
