Why does my Aura app say 'failed to establish connection'?

Please note that between 11am - 1pm EST on Wednesday May 8th, Aura will be undertaking a service upgrade which may impact our customers.

If you see a message saying 'Failed to Establish Connection' upon opening the Aura app please try again after 1pm EST. You may also notice that your frame displays a small tab that says 'offline' please note that this will disappear as soon as the upgrade is complete. 

We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please know that our engineering teams are working hard to get the app back up and running as quickly as possible.
