However, we also offer a direct email-to-frame upload option where any invited frame member can send a single photo to a frame's unique email address, perfect for quick updates or special moments you want to share instantly. For sending multiple photos at once, the Aura Frames app is the easiest way to upload in bulk.

Please note:

• This upload option is for still photos only. Videos and Apple Live Photos should be uploaded through the Aura app 
  
  
• If you want to email photos to multiple frames, please send a separate email to each frame’s unique address.
  
  
• If you are preparing gift content for a frame, the (virtual) gift may have a different email address than the physical frame. Make sure you stop using the gift email after it’s claimed and the frame is set up.

Where do I find the frame's email address?

The unique frame email address can be found in the iOS and Android Aura app and in our web portal on app.auraframes.com.  

iOS / Android App:

Simply open the app, select the frame in question and access the "Settings" screen in the top right corner. The "Email to frame" option will be listed at the bottom. 

The app will now show you the unique email address and also allow you to copy it:

Who can send photos to a frame's email address? 

You must be:

• A registered frame contributor.

• Sending the email from the same address linked to your Aura account.

This keeps the feature secure so your frame’s email address can’t be misused. If a non-member sends a photo, it will be rejected and they’ll be notified they don’t have access.

How can I send a photo via email?  

1. Obtain the frame’s email address from the app or web portal.

2. Compose a new email from your registered email address.

3. Attach one photo (JPG, PNG, or TIFF).

4. Send the email, the photo will appear on the frame shortly after.

For sharing more than one photo, simply send multiple emails or use the Aura app for faster, more convenient bulk uploads.

We currently support the following formats: 

• JPG
• PNG
• TIFF 

We don't support:

• Videos (please use the Aura App to upload them to your frame) 
• Apple Live Photos 
• Email text or subject lines: text will not appear on the frame  

Can I remove photos that I had send via email?  

Not by email, but you can remove any previously sent photo through the Aura app.
