This article explains how to use Aura's Web Uploader to add photos to your frame from a computer or laptop, whether you own the frame or have been invited to contribute.
Helpful Things to Know About the Web Uploader
The Web Uploader is a simple and convenient way to add photos to your frame from a computer, especially if you're not using a smartphone. While it's designed to support essential uploading tasks, there are a few things to keep in mind:
-
The Web Uploader currently supports JPEG, PNG, and TIFF image formats.
-
Each image must be 9.5MB or smaller, so you may need to resize larger files before uploading.
-
You’ll be able to view and manage a sub set selection of your photos through the Web Uploader.
-
The Web Uploader does not support:
-
Video uploads
-
Uploading entire albums with automatic syncing
-
Changing frame settings
-
For more advanced features like uploading videos, syncing entire albums, or adjusting your frame’s settings we recommend using the Aura app for iOS or Android, which offers the most complete experience.
The Web Uploader is intended as a complement to the Aura app, and while it’s a great tool for quick uploads from your desktop or laptop, it won’t include all the same features as the app. At this time, there are no plans to expand its functionality further.
How to upload photos via the Web Uploader ?
Visit http://app.auraframes.com and log into your Aura account using your email address and password. If you don’t have an account, click on “register here” to create one.
You will now be able to access any frames that you own - or have been invited to - and add new photos from your desktop / computer. While you can select all photos from within a photo album, you will need the Aura app in order to sync the entire photo album with your frame (= automatically displaying any new photos that are added to the album).
