You may want to remove yourself and your photos from a frame or you may want to completely and permanently erase all frame photos and all frame members.

The following actions are permanent and cannot be restored by any frame member OR Aura Customer Care.

1. You only remove yourself:  

The frame remains in existence and visible to any other members.

The frame will no longer be listed in your Aura frames app.

All of the photos you contributed to the frame will be permanently deleted from the Aura Cloud and the physical Aura frame. 

These photos CANNOT be restored.

2. You remove yourself and all other frame members:

While there is still a physical frame, the frame no longer exists and is no longer visible to any other members since this removes the frame and all contents from the Aura cloud.

The frame will no longer be listed for any frame members in the Aura frames app.

All of the photos contributed to the frame by any frame member will be permanently deleted from the Aura Cloud and the physical Aura frame. 

These photos and frame members CANNOT be restored.

See the steps below:

1. You only remove yourself:

Follow these steps if you wish to leave a frame while keeping it available to other frame members who have been invited to it. Once you have completed the steps, you will no longer see the frame in your Aura Frames app, and your previously uploaded photos will be permanently removed from the frame and the Aura Cloud.  Any other frame members can still see the photos they contributed to the frame and they still have access to the frame within their Aura App.

1. Open the Aura app to the Home Screen
2. Tap on the "A" in the top left corner
3. Tap on the name of the frame that you want to delete
4. Tap the settings wheel in the top right corner of your screen and then tap on "Add Members"
5. 
   
   
6. Find and tap on your own account
   
   
7. Then, tap on the ". . ." icon and leave the frame. Please be aware, that all of your photos will be removed from this frame since your account is no longer part of it. 
   
   

IMPORTANT: If you change your mind and you want to join the frame again, you will have to ask one of the remaining frame members to invite you again as explained in this FAQ. 

2. You remove yourself and all other frame members:

Please follow these steps if you wish to "Leave & Factory Reset Frame" 

The frame will no longer be visible in anybody's Aura Frames app and all the photos are permanently deleted. You can set up the frame again as explained in this FAQ. 

1. Open the Aura app to the Home Screen
2. Tap on the "A" in the top left corner
3. Tap on the name of the frame that you want to delete
4. Tap the settings wheel in the top right corner of your screen and then tap on "Add Members"
   
   
5. Tap on each person's name (do your name last), then select the icon with the three small dots in the top right corner. 
   
   
6. Select "Remove from Frame" and confirm "Remove"
   
   
7. Repeat the steps above for any additional members
8. When you are the final member remaining, tap on your own name
9. Again, tap the icon in the top right (three small dots) and select "Leave & Factory Reset Frame." 
10. From the "Are You Sure?" prompt, tap Reset. If you have the physical frame near you will see messages on the frame display that it is "erasing" and "resetting" itself.
