What is People Search?
People Search is a powerful feature in the Aura App that allows you to upload photos based on the faces that frequently appear in your camera roll. It makes it easy to find and share cherished moments featuring the people who matter most to you. If you do not have this feature yet, keep checking back and ensuring your Aura App is up to date!

This feature is currently only available on iOS (Apple) for users who have granted full access to their camera rolls and and opted into Smart Suggestions. To opt out of People Search, you will need to disable Smart Suggestions. You can do this by following the steps to disable Smart Suggestions in our Privacy and Data Collection Practices |
How Does It Work?
When adding NEW photos to Aura, the People Search feature shows a simple and intuitive interface. On the ‘Add Photos’ screen, you’ll see the faces of people who appear frequently in the photos you granted the Aura App access to. By selecting these faces, you can filter your photos and add them to Aura with ease.
Where Is People Search Available?
Currently, People Search is only available on iOS devices.
How to Use People Search:
- Open the Aura App on your iOS device.
- Go to the ‘Add Photos’ screen.
- Aura will automatically display the faces of people who frequently appear in your photos.
- Select the faces you’d like to filter by.
- Browse and choose the specific photos to add to Aura.
