In order to use the Aura App, you’ll need to create an Aura Account. We encourage each frame member to have their own account.
1) When do I need an Aura account?
You’ll need an Aura account if you want to use the Aura app or Web Uploader to set up, personalize, or manage a frame.
You'll need an Aura Account to:
- Use the Aura Frames app or Web Uploader
- Set up a new frame with the Aura App
- Upload photos or videos to a frame
- Prepare a frame as a gift, including adding a gift message and photos in advance
- Manage your frames and settings in the app (for example, slide duration, sleep timer, or multiple frames)
You won't need an Aura account if:
- Someone else has already set up the frame in your home and you only want to use the basic controls via the Touch Bar (next/previous photo, play sound for video)
- You’re just purchasing a frame as a gift and not setting it up or loading photos ahead of time.
2) Should I use more than one Aura account?
While it’s technically possible to create and log into multiple Aura accounts, we strongly recommend using a single Aura account for a single individual. You can manage multiple frames from one account.
Using one account ensures:
Easier access to all your frames in one place
Simpler photo and video management
Fewer login issues or confusion when switching devices
Smoother sharing with friends and family

3) How do I set up an Aura account?
You can easily set up your account with an email address and a password of your choice when starting the Aura Frames app (auraframes.com/app) or using the Web uploader (app.auraframes.com) for the first time. Please ensure you verify the confirmation email that we are sending to you as part of the account setup.
4) How do I change my password?

5) How do I change my account's email address?
Note: You must be able to sign in to your current account to change your email address. If you already set up a new Aura account with the new email, you won’t be able to change your address to an address that exists in another Aura account. We cannot merge accounts, but if you’re having trouble, please open a ticket.
Once you have logged into the Aura Frames app, you can tap on the three lines icon in the top left corner:
Next, select the "view account" option underneath your name
Finally, tap on the email field to edit it. Be sure to hit "Save" at the top right corner. Important: you will need access to the new email address in order to manage this account moving forward.
6) How do I log out of my account?

7) How can I delete my Aura Account?
If you no longer wish to use your Aura frame or if you want to delete your Aura account for any other reason, please follow the steps in this FAQ: Deleting your Aura account
8) How do I change or remove my Phone Number?
To update or remove your phone number, open the Aura Frames app and:
- Tap on the 3 lines in the top left corner
- Select "View Account".
- Edit or delete your phone number
If you edited the number, you will receive a new verification code by text message.
If you deleted the number, you will non longer receive any text messages from Aura.
| IMPORTANT: once you delete your account, any photos and videos that you had uploaded to any Aura frame will be permanently removed from the frame(s) and cannot be restored. |
